Psyrosis Neuchosis

Psychosis is one of the most horrible illnesses I can imagine. Neurosis is more like a nagging urge, like a compassion, an obsession. A paranoid Neurotic thinks he or she is been followed, while a psychotic person KNOWS the whole world is after him or her... of course, there are dangerous and very upsetting kinds of Neurotics as well, but psychosis... that creeps me out. Not to be able to trust your own perception, your memories, your thoughts... The reality your brain invents is completly different to the one that is actually happening... I actually made fun of a person sitting in the waiting room and yelling: 3 more month of syringes and the voices will go away! I laughed, because that is the kind of thing people expect, when waiting at a psychiatrist's practice... but... that laughing soon died in my throat, when i learned, what "hearing voices" really could mean.

what a grim topic and what a funny way to illustrate it... as in many pictures these two characters are more like placeholders, since "psychosis" and "neurosis" really deserve their own kind of character design ; )
