and about your comments - magic does exist even more, even with our eyes open if we can keep our brain balanced at a point where overanalyzation and belief in magic overlap.
make it a point to remember all the strange little things that happen, and dont ever write them off as just coincidence.
start viewing the world differently. pay attention to synchronicity (when events line up too closely, even little things - someone tells you about something, the next day you see or experience that something). look for things that seem... 'out of place' - realize that all of nature creations are a miracle. take pictures or record in writing all those things that you experience.
in fact, being a lot more aware of your surroundings inspires you to see the magic in it. reality tends to make us only focus on what we need to, and pushes all the small instances from our minds.
and on originality: nothing is new. only our experience of it makes it new. now that you know this, you can stop worrying about being original (easier said than done) as long as you are using your own hand to create (and you arent directly copying) then you will develop your unique originality, even if the subject/motions/style/etc has been done before.
